Customising monitor authentication

Does your API or website require a specific authentication type? Currently, by default, we'll make requests to your monitor URL without any kind of authentication, if your monitor returns an error, we'll mark your monitor as down, when in reality, your monitor might not be down at all causing frustration.

This is where our monitor authentication feature will help, you can configure this alongside the monitor HTTP method to ensure that your monitor is always giving you the correct alerts.

We currently support the following authentication types:

• Basic auth
• Digest auth
• Token based auth (bearer token)
