Domain Monitor Help guide

Adding a Google Calendar event monitor

A Google Calendar event monitor is a great way to quickly set up quick reminders via an external system from within our platform. You'll get automatic notifications from most of these systems, managed via our platform.

Use cases

  • Set an event to remind you of expiring API keys on external platforms
  • Set an event to let you know when to login into your account
  • Set an event that contains your team members to get notified at once

Getting started

You'll need to be on our Pro plan to start using this monitor type

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Navigate to the OAuth connections area within your account
  3. Find the Google Calendar connection within the list and expand it
  4. Click on the Get started button to take you to the available integrations. Look for Google Calendar and click Install

Activating the integration...

  2. Tap Monitors (you might need to open the menu first if on a mobile) in the menu
  3. Tap on Add monitor and choose the Add monitor from the dropdown list
  4. Give your monitor a name and optionally a description

Why do we need full permissions?

In order for us to create and edit events within your Calendar we'll need full permissions to it. However we'd just like to clarify:

  • We only use these permission to create events on your behalf and for your benefit
  • We will not sell or reveal your data to third party vendors
  • We will not delete or modify calendars or events without your consent
  • You can revoke access at anytime

Revoking access

You can revoke access to your Google Calendar by heading to the OAuth connections aream looking for the Google Calendar connection, expanding it and clicking on "Revoke"
