🏬 Domain availability monitoring [new feature]

Looking to get notified when a domain name becomes available?

Excellent!

Look no further than Domain Monitor's Domain availability monitoring tool.

We've recently launched this brand new feature, exclusive for our Pro users, and you can start using it today.

❓ What is domain availability monitoring?

Put simply, domain availability monitoring is the process taken to determine whether a domain name is either available, or unavailable.

Meaning, if it's unavailable, you cannot register it as it's already registered by someone.

As soon as the domain in question becomes available, our availability checker will notify you and you'll be able to purchase the domain through one of our partners.

🚀 How do I get started with Domain Monitor's domain availability monitoring feature?

This feature is part of our Pro plan and has limits on how many of your domains can have this feature enabled, so please check the pricing page for up-to date information.

  1. Firstly, log in to your account
  2. Next, head to your Monitors and click on the Add monitor button and choose Add monitor
  3. Give your monitor a descriptive name, for example, you could simply put the domain name here
  4. Set the Monitor type to "Domain availability"
  5. Finally, choose how often we should check the domain, and enter the exact domain name

A note on Domain availability limits

It's worth noting that you won't be able to have every single monitor set up in your account as availability monitors. We're rolling this feature out gradually, and this means that we'll be gradually increasing the total number of domain availability monitors that you can add.
