Domain Monitor Help guide

Customising the expiration alert window

By default we send expiration alerts for both domains and SSLs at the following intervals:

  • 30 days prior to expiration (for domains)
  • 14 days prior to expiration (for SSLs)

These are some good defaults and mean that you shouldn't ever encounter a situation where your domain or SSL is expiring without notice, however, we understand that you might want to customise these defaults, here's how you can customise the expiration alert notice periods:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Tap Domains (you might need to open the menu first if on a mobile) in the menu
  3. Tap on the pencil icon to edit one of your domains
  4. Set an expiration alert notice period in days in the inputs and save your domain

Once you've saved these you'll now begin to receive these alerts at these intervals, we recommend at least a 14 day expiration window for both your domain and SSL for optimal results.
